I may not be blogging much, but I am still training!
Since I was last here, I have done some proper running training, actual hills and intervals. Also a longer swim than in a while (1km) and played some really fun soccer games. We played two of the top teams in division and won both matches. I was particularly proud of myself for doing reasonable job of marking one of the faster players in comp. She only got away from me once. I’ll have to change my self-image that I am built for comfort and not speed! I might also not be as slow off the mark or lacking agility as I thought either… Mind you, I’d love to do some specific training on agility. I googled it once without much luck. Anyone got any advice?
On the down side, I still don’t have a proper training plan for Noosa; or two get that half time under 2 hours. Random training is better than none at all.
