Oh boy, it has been a difficult week to get myself going. Wednesday evening I did a really short run/walk to the shops and some yoga, but that didn’t resemble training.
Thursday I did a little bit of strength training in the morning, and soccer training in the evening. Soccer was fun, we just played and was a super fun way to run 5km or so, distance at least based on my FitBit🙂
Friday was another short loosening up run after soccer, and I really had to drag myself out this morning. As it turned out that was the best run of the week – a beautiful morning at Blackwattle and I managed for the first time in ages to do a mid distance run (8.5km) at under 6 min kms. I have a lot of work to do to get to the under 2hr half I’m shooting for in September. At least I still have nearly 6 months… hopefully the really enjoyable run this morning is the motivation I need to get back into a proper training plan.
