Oh wow, the blogging went over the cliff with an overwhelming amount of work and Uni assignments due… I’m way too old to be doing all nighters!
I managed to do train for taekwondo a few times – we are having to move our days now that soccer season has begun in earnest. Tricky, but really committed to the first Dan grading in June…
I also ran a few times, but not nearly as much as I want to be. Just a bit too tired, late nights working.
Had another squash game too, not a win but at least pulled a game out of the bag. The guy I played said I gave him his best game in the comp which was quite a nice feeling. Maybe I am improving after 13 years away!
Also managed to squeeze in a swim. So much my weak spot. I’m a bit worried about that for the Olympic distance. I think I might have to invest in some coaching, try and improve my technique.
I had a massive weekend with a Uni assignment due. Very proud that I still trained a bit – ran and trained taekwondo; and played soccer on Sunday. The fitness and energy I have these days is the only thing that gets me through! Monday was a write-off though🙂
Back on wagon last night with taekwondo training, and then a run today. This week’s goal: properly set up a training schedule for half-marathon in September; triathlon in October!
