I find myself at a bit of an inflection point. Wrapping up some of my volunteering on one front, which will free up some time. And now to consider what to do with that time… I don’t really do just sitting around all that well. Or in fact I do sometimes, but then feel wretched afterwards, as if I’m wasting my life! I’d rather have something to do… But what? That is the question. I want to make sure I don’t get over full, to leave time and space for spontaneity and doing the things around the rest of the family, but I do hate sitting around!
I’m looking at this summer and thinking that really I can probably work on my speed now as I finished the winter football season uninjured for a change (touch wood). And I have signed up for a couple of sprint triathlons, which would be helped by speed training in any (or all!) disciplines… So maybe uplifting some of my training.
But there are so many other things I could be doing. Including making space and time for more work (especially paid work, which would be a good idea too!). Looking forward to hearing suggestions from folks on FB!
